June: During the Favor’i ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of FEVAD (Federation of Distance Selling Companies), Jacques-Antoine Granjon wins the Favor’i d’Honneur award recognising him as the most influential Distance Selling Businessman of the last 50 years. The website is also rewarded for being The Internet user’s Favor’i for exclusive online sales.
July: American venture capitalists Summit Partners acquire a 20% stake in vente-privee.com.
September: Launch of VPSound, a CD compiling the best sales soundtracks, sold exclusively on the website, composed and produced by the Sound Design team in vente-privee.com’s in-house sound studios.
October: Launch of Rosebuzz, a magazine edited every two months by vente-privee.com. Urban yet elegant, the magazine features fashion, beauty, and art.
