Since 2010, vente-privee.com has been offering its website equivalent to mobile phones in most of the European countries where it is available. This includes iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone applications, as well as Android which was added last May. In addition to this, a user-friendly platform was created for mobile users allowing them to access the website from their mobile phones. These applications and platforms are constantly being improved to render access to the website easier.
The mobile channel (which makes up more than 10% of global sales) is in its first stages in developed countries such as the UK and the United States. Few companies have developed applications for mobile phones at the moment but the increase of such applications should be exponential in the years to come.

This is already the case among young people in developed countries.” states Mr.Granjon. The rate at which people are being supplied with Smartphones continues to increase (there are almost 14 million iPhones and iPads in Europe) but the number of people who surf the web from their phone and then make purchases still remains confidential.
